LACCEI K-12 (Kindergarten through 12th grade / Educación preuniversitaria)

Objective

K-12 initiatives, which encompass all levels of formal education prior to university and connect students with engineering, are especially significant. These initiatives provide the foundation for young people to understand the various pathways they can pursue to become engineers. Therefore, it is essential to highlight and support these programs in order to continue inspiring the next generation of engineers, leaders, and innovators who will shape society in the years to come.

Las iniciativas K-12, que abarcan todos los niveles de educación formal previos al ingreso universitario (Preuniversitario) y que conectan a los estudiantes con la ingeniería, son especialmente relevantes. Estas iniciativas brindan las bases para que los jóvenes comprendan las diversas trayectorias que pueden seguir para formarse como ingenieros. Por ello, resulta fundamental visibilizar y respaldar este tipo de programas, con el fin de seguir inspirando a la próxima generación de ingenieros, líderes e innovadores que darán forma a la sociedad en los años venideros.
