LACCEI Training: Innovation & Artificial Intelligence
This exclusive training event is designed for active LACCEI member institutions and brings together university leaders, academic authorities, industry partners, and public policy stakeholders committed to strengthening innovation capacities and advancing the transformation of engineering education across Latin America, the Caribbean, and the United States.
The LACCEI Training on Innovation & Artificial Intelligence provides a strategic space for capacity building, collaborative learning, and institutional reflection, focused on how universities can effectively adapt, create, and transfer knowledge and technology in rapidly changing economic and technological contexts.
The program emphasizes innovation-driven institutional transformation, the strategic use of artificial intelligence, and the development of sustainable collaboration mechanisms among universities, industry, development organizations, and policymakers.
This training is geared toward rectors, deans, academic leaders, innovation directors, and institutional representatives, with the objective of fostering dialogue, cooperation, and shared strategies that promote economic growth through higher education and engineering.
The event will take place at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) in Boca Raton, Florida, and will conclude with an internal strategic reflection session for LACCEI Board members focused on the future direction of the consortium.
