Tribology Conference 2023

We are happy to announce the second Latin American and Caribbean Tribology Conference (LAC-TC 2023) that will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from, July 19th to July 21th 2023. The LAC-TC conference will aim to offer bridges between American, European and Asian scientists and industries on the topics of tribology by:

• Present major advances in the field of tribology,
• Generate and promote scientific knowledge on tribology in the region,
• Develop interactions between research American, European and Asian laboratories and industrial networks,
• Discuss ideas, issues and challenges för future potential solutions.

TOPIC: 
The conference will focus on current and upcoming tribological challenges to be addressed by researchers from both the scientific and industrial sectors. Among the many problems considered, there will be the impact of tribology on human health, the environmental impact of tribology, etc.

The program committee cordially invites research ideas in (but not limited to) the following suggested range of subjects:

• Tribology in transport,
• Tribology in industry,
• Tribology in space environment,
• Tribology in energy production,
• Nanoscale tribology,
• Local and global contact measurements, Multi-scale & multi-physics modeling in tribology, Biotribology.

PROCEEDINGS:
The authors are invited to submit either an extended abstract (max. 2 pages) or a full paper (max .10 pages). Template click here. All accepted and presented papers will be published in the proceedings with ISSN, ISBN. Full papers undergo double blind review, and if accepted and presented, will be published with DOI, indexed by EBSCO, and processed for evaluation by SCOPUS and other indexes.

CONFERENCE LOCATION:
The LAC-TC 2023 will be held in the framework of the LACCEI 2023, organized by the Latin American and Caribbean Consortium of Engineering Institutions (LACCEI). The conference will take place at the Buenos Aires Marriott.

IMPORTANT DATES:
Authors are cordially invited to submit an extended abstract or full paper on your recent works.
Deadline for Extended abstract submission:

• March 12, 2023: Deadline papers submissions.
• April 9, 2023: Notification of acceptance.
• July 20, 2023: Conference day.
