Important information for authors

1. LACCEI accepts papers written in English, Spanish, Portuguese, or French not exceeding 6 to 10 pages for full papers (FP) and 2 to 5 pages for work in progress (WP).
2. Papers should be submitted in PDF in conformance with the LACCEI paper format. To download the paper template, please click HERE.
3. There is a limit of 3 papers per author (includes co-author) and 7 authors per paper.
4. To be included in the Conference program and published in the Proceedings of LACCEI 2024, the non-refundable registration of at least one author (not a Student Registration) is required.
5. One author registration includes the processing fee of one paper. Additional accepted refereed papers from the same author will be included in the program and the Proceedings of LACCEI 2024 at a cost of USD $75 paper processing fee each.
6. LACCEI reserves the right to exclude a submission from the proceedings if there is no paid registration associated with the full paper or work in progress paper. In the event that no author can present, or for any clarification needed please contact laccei2024@conftool.pro prior to the conference.
7. Student Competition submissions require at least one author registration (not the faculty mentor) and must be presented by a student author. Please refer to the Rules of the International Student Research Paper and Poster Competitions, please click HERE.
8. LACCEI Proceedings are a free open access publication, this requires that, once the paper is accepted, the first-named author consent through an electronic copyright assignment agreement.

INFORMACIÓN IMPORTANTE PARA AUTORES (Español)

1. LACCEI acepta trabajos en inglés, español, portugués o francés que no excedan de 6 a 10 páginas para artículos largos (full papers-FP) y de 2 a 5 páginas para artículos cortos (work in progress-WP).
2. Los trabajos deben enviarse en PDF en el formato establecido por LACCEI. Para descargar el formato, haga clic AQUÍ.
3. Hay un límite de 3 trabajos por autor (incluye el co-author) y 7 autores por trabajo.
4. Para ser incluido en el programa de la Conferencia y publicado en las Actas de LACCEI 2024, se requiere el registro no reembolsable de al menos un autor (no un Registro de Estudiante).
5. La inscripción de un autor en la conferencia le da derecho al procesamiento de un artículo. Trabajos adicionales del mismo autor que sean aceptados podrán incluirse en el programa de la Conferencia y en las memorias de LACCEI 2024 mediante un costo adicional de USD $ 75 cada uno para cubrir los costos de procesamiento.
6. LACCEI se reserva el derecho de no incluir la presentación de un trabajo en el programa de la conferencia o de no publicarlo si no se efectúan los pagos que corresponden. En el caso de que ningún autor pueda presentar el trabajo o de ser necesaria cualquier aclaración, se recomienda ponerse en contacto anticipadamente con la administración de la conferencia mediante laccei2024@conftool.pro.
7. Los trabajos sometidos al Certamen Estudiantil requieren la inscripción de al menos uno de sus autores (no del profesor mentor) y debe ser presentada por un estudiante autor. Refiérase a las Reglas del Certamen Estudiantil, por favor de clic AQUI.
8. Las Memorias de LACCEI 2024 son una publicación gratuita de acceso abierto, esto requiere que, una vez aceptado el artículo, el autor nombrado en primer lugar dé el consentimiento para publicar a través de un acuerdo electrónico de cesión de derechos de autor.
