Incubator Success Stories

Success is contagious: the success stories of Business Incubators, Startup Accelerators, and Entrepreneurship Support Programs always interest and motivate everyone. It will be possible to present and publish such stories at LEIRD 2022.

LEIRD accepts unpublished works, particularly those written in English, Spanish, or Portuguese. Once the works are submitted and accepted, they are published with free open access in the conference proceedings under their corresponding ISSN and ISBN.

A unique opportunity

The conference will be held under the theme “Exponential Technologies and Global Challenges: Moving toward a new culture of Entrepreneurship and Innovation for sustainable development”.  Representatives from international organizations — such as the Organization of American States, the Development Bank of Latin America, and the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America, among others — will present us with a comprehensive overview of regional economic development in regard to the situation arising from the pandemic. Members of different non-governmental organizations will share their views on entrepreneurship and innovation, in relation to education, government policies, and trends in support programs such as business incubators and startup accelerators.

In short, LEIRD will be a unique opportunity in which to compare our achievements, chores, and plans with academics and researchers, representatives of international organizations, and colleagues from other organizations supporting entrepreneurship.

The use of the AGORA Meetings platform will allow the conference to be organized and developed as if it were in a traditional convention center. This is how it will be possible to organize plenary sessions, concurrent sessions, meeting rooms for small groups, etc.  One of the sessions will be dedicated to sharing success stories of business incubators, startup accelerators, and support centers for entrepreneurship in general.
