Abstract

This project aims to design the implementation plan of the quality management system for the efficient development of activities in the chemical sector company (Medellín). In order to carry out the optimization of the processes, as well as to give a starting point in the traceability of the processes, which will allow to strengthen the continuous improvement and to comply with the objectives and the quality policy, thus guaranteeing an effective measurement of its through indicator processes. Based on the company's policies and its interest in continuous improvement, it is necessary to develop a process for implementing the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001: 2015, making the organization a reliable and secure entity. in front of customers and suppliers. The implementation of a quality management system is carried out initially with a diagnosis of the organization to have a starting point and formulate the work plan to propose improvements in processes, characterizations, procedures, formats, supporting documents and training to the personnel so that the effectiveness of the system can be measured in all the areas that intervene in the organization. With the initial diagnosis it was possible to show that they only had 20% of the documented information and the processes within the organization are not clear. That said, the project allows the organization to have quality standards established under ISO 9001 of 2015, always seeking customer satisfaction. This project has a qualitative approach, since we rely on evidence and the description of processes in an inductive way to guarantee compliance and improvement and implementation of the ISO 9001: 2015 standard within an organization dedicated to the commercialization of chemical products, plastics, and medical devices for laboratories, clinics among others. The importance of implementing a quality system in organizations is due to the fact that competition is increasing and having processes certified under quality standards will guarantee better results that allow the organization to grow both nationally and internationally in the market. In conclusion, it is essential for organizations today to have high-quality certified processes and ISO 9001:2015 allows them to reach new markets and gain credibility both with customers and suppliers in the sector to which the target market is directed. It is very important to train staff and that everyone in the organization knows its processes.
