Abstract
The general objective of this research is to analyze the deterioration of the infrastructure and the state of conservation of the heritage houses that are located in the historic center of (Trujillo) in 2024 and to know if they are being protected because they are part of our identity. culture in the sustainable growth of cities and communities (SDG 11). In this research, a qualitative approach was used, where the study sample was 71 houses in the historic center of Trujillo; the instrument used was an observation sheet where the deterioration of the houses was evaluated and a survey that evaluated the level of conservation of the houses. mansions. As a result, it is observed that 21.5% of the houses show deterioration as a result of natural phenomena. Furthermore, when evaluating the level of conservation in the mansions, it was observed that 70.9% present a medium state of conservation and 54.5% present a low level of restoration. Additionally, through the rho spearman statistical test, there is an inverse relationship between the deterioration of the infrastructure and the conservation of the mansions, which is negative and its significant level is less than 1% (p < 0.01). In conclusion, we have that the mansions in the historic center They have a high level of deterioration, which is why there is an urgent need to become aware of conserving our historical and cultural heritage.
