Abstract

The main objective of this research study was to determine the relationship between the EDUCCA Municipal Program and environmental awareness in primary level students of Educational Institution No. 1214 Señor de Los Milagros. The applied methodology had a quantitative approach, along with a non-experimental design, with a relational and basic scope. The population and sample, being census type, were made up of the same number of participants, which was 85 primary school students. The technique applied to collect the data was the survey, while a questionnaire per variable was used as an instrument. The results showed that a large number of students present high levels of the EDUCCA Municipal Program and environmental awareness, representing 74,12% and 78,82% respectively. It is also concluded that Spearman's Rho coefficient is 0,715 and the level of significance is less than 0,001, which indicates that there is a strong positive correlation between both variables.
