Abstract

The management of urban waste is an urgent challenge to solve in the young town of the forest of the city of Trujillo, the streets of the city do not have an effective garbage collection service, which in turn causes an accumulation problem indefinite of the same in the streets and urbanizations. It has been reported that in the young town of the forest, the garbage truck does not travel through said urbanization, nor does it sound the siren that indicates its arrival; This bothers the people who live there, since garbage is collected every day and this produces bacteria and other pathogens derived from putrefaction, generating diseases and exposing the inhabitants of the area, especially children and elderly people. The main objective of this research is the development and implementation of a mobile application that generates a monitoring and notification system for a garbage collection truck. Allowing the people of said urbanization to be attentive to the trucks that pass by.
