Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze how a chatbot influences emotional support in the face of anxiety and depression in high school students of an educational institution in Trujillo during the year 2023. A pre-experimental type of study was conducted with a sample of 23 students, using questionnaires for data collection and SPSS statistical software for analysis, which included Student's t-tests and Wilcoxon tests. The dimensions considered for emotional support against anxiety and depression addressed psychoeducational and autonomous aspects. On the other hand, the dimensions evaluated in the chatbot included accuracy and speed of response. The results obtained indicate that a chatbot exerts a positive influence on emotional support against anxiety and depression in high school students. Based on the above, we can conclude that an emotional support chatbot has a positive influence on high school students by helping them to manage anxiety and depression
