Abstract
This study focused on examining the relationship between teleworking and job satisfaction within the public administration of a governmental organization in Lima during the year 2022. Adopting a quantitative approach, the research utilized a descriptive and correlational methodology, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. Data collection was conducted through a survey applied to 45 collaborators, and data were analyzed using the SPSS statistical software. The results revealed a Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient of 0.790, with a bilateral significance value of 0.000, indicating a significantly positive relationship between job satisfaction and teleworking in the studied context. These findings suggest that teleworking has had a favorable impact on employee job satisfaction, contributing to aspects such as the prevention of COVID-19 contagion, time optimization, economic benefits, and the possibility of spending more time with family. In conclusion, the study provides empirical evidence that teleworking can be an effective strategy for enhancing job satisfaction within public administration, particularly under challenging circumstances such as those imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The implications of these findings for human resource management in the public sector are discussed, and future directions for research on teleworking and job satisfaction are suggested.
