Abstract

In recent years, a more pedagogical approach has emerged in relation to research skills for university students. These innovative strategies bring advantages to the students' learning process. In this context, the purpose of this systematic review was to expose the different tools that are presented as a crucial element for academic life. As a result, an exploration was undertaken in various databases such as: Scopus, Wos, ProQuest, among others. This allowed the exploration to be broad and the perception around the topic to extend further for a deeper analysis. Subsequently, the tools found in the different articles were examined, selecting the most outstanding of all of them to be implemented in the teaching and learning of the students. This will allow them to acquire new knowledge and enhance their skills. Therefore, it is necessary to guide and encourage students to be interested in research skills that have a pedagogical approach that will lead them to achieve better results throughout their professional career. In conclusion, different methods must be explored to reach students and that they can make more accurate decisions in relation to these new skills that are being introduced globally.
