Abstract
Knowledge management is a skill that must be developed by companies to expand the possibilities for the exchange and inheritance of information between individuals that make up an organization and make good use of knowledge. Through a literature review its importance was alluded to, its evolution will also be addressed taking key events from its origin to the present and highlighting the period of 2019-2023, providing a vision of concepts and opinions of the main authors that explain knowledge management and knowledge management models that highlights the literature, the methodology used was qualitative in nature. As a result, different perspectives were obtained from the authors that were taken into account in this article, emphasizing the key points of their evolution. In addition, it facilitates the generation and exchange of knowledge among individuals that generate organization, which improves communication, support and organizational learning that translates into ensuring the longevity of the company.
