Abstract
The objective of the study is to analyze the satisfaction of students of the Industrial and Systems Engineering career of the Ibero-American University of Sciences and Technology (UNICIT), (Managua, Republic of Nicaragua) regarding virtual education during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methodologically, the study has a qualitative approach, framed in the phenomenological. The techniques used were the bibliographic review and the semi-structured interview applied to 10 key informants within the university environment. Among the conclusions, the students expressed satisfaction regarding the quality of the educational materials; in the management of information and communication technologies by teachers; as well as with the use of virtual classrooms and the platform as tools to face the conjunctural situation created by Covid-19.
