Abstract

Sexual and reproductive health is of great importance and is defined as a process linked to human development. In recent decades, information and communication technologies have transformed production, employment, work, education, health, political and social life, and everyday life. Having a healthy society implies that people in general and women in particular, and with greater urgency, decide on their sexuality without pressure or violence. A systematic review of the scientific literature was carried out, adopting the PRISMA methodology. The search for articles in the different selected databases yielded a total of approximately 3,900 articles in the last 10 years, that is, from 2011 to 2021, then, when applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, only 24 articles were chosen, of which the main contributions were summarized, thus concluding that information and communication technologies are more easily implemented and have greater efficacy compared to traditional behavioral interventions. However, these can be very limited or fall into conservatism.
