Abstract
The objective of this research article is to determine how safety indices at work influence the rates of occupational accidents in the industries of the footwear sector, using the linear regression methodology, through industrial safety reports and reports occupational accidents, highlighting the influence of occupational safety in occupational accidents, determining that, the greater the management of industrial safety, the lower the rates of occupational accidents, contributing to a reliable, safe and healthy work environment.
