High-Level Strategic Framing Segment<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A high-level discussion on the main challenges and opportunities in higher education, relevant to all participating institutions. This segment will address the role of international organizations such as: OAS, UNESCO, WIPO, IDB, ECLAC, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coordination 1:<br>Harvard\u2019s Growth Lab (USA) \u2013 Dr. Christian Chacua<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. International Accreditation and Quality Assurance<\/strong> Segment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Analysis of international certification and accreditation processes for universities, including experiences and perspectives from experts. Key topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>International accreditation frameworks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quality assurance mechanisms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strategic value of global recognition<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Coordination 2:<br>European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE) \u2013 Europe<br>Dr. Jos\u00e9 Carlos Quadrado<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Participatory Dynamics and Strategic Outcomes<\/strong> Segment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Collaborative group work focused on key topics related to university transformation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>University governance and management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Institutional sustainability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alignment of academic offerings with student demand and the impact of AI<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quality of education and impact of extension and outreach<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Working methodology (segment 3):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>5 working groups will be formed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each group must appoint a secretary<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>LACCEI will provide 5 computers for real-time documentation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each group will receive support for structured documentation of results<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Expected outcome (segment 3): A set of strategic recommendations will be produced, serving as input for the<br><strong>LACCEI 2026 Declaration of Commitments<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coordination 3:<br>LACCEI Standing Committee on Prospective and Future Studies \u2013 Dr. Jhon Zartha<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>General Coordinators<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Dr. Jenny Basantes<\/strong>.
