Abstract
The use of solid waste in the construction and mining industries is a crucial practice to promote sustainability and reduce environmental impact. In the construction sector, recycling materials such as concrete, asphalt, wood and metals not only minimizes the volume of waste reaching landfills, but also reduces the need to extract and process new resources. Likewise, in mining, the reuse of materials and the recycling of precious metals and other minerals contribute to a more circular economy, reducing dependence on the extraction of natural resources and reducing the carbon emissions associated with these processes. The implementation of advanced technologies and the adoption of strict environmental policies are essential to optimize waste management in these sectors
