Abstract
Currently, the construction industry in Peru faces low levels of productivity and notable resistance to digital transformation, factors that restrict its growth. The lack of digitalization translates into errors in costs, delays and poor decision making, however, the integration of technologies such as Building information Modeling (BIM), the internet of things (loT) and Big data that could revolutionize this sector. These tools not only improve efficiency and sustainability, but also optimize project planning and management. BIM simplifies collaboration in design and construction, creating digital models that support decision making. On the other hand, the LoT allows the interconnection of devices for real-time monitoring and resource management, likewise, Big Data provides valuable information for optimization and predictive maintenance, on the other hand, artificial intelligence offers solutions such as machine, predictive analysis, learning and Deep learning that improve efficiency and reduce costs. Artificial intelligence also improves building design to reduce environmental impact and increase energy efficiency. Sustainable construction in Peru focuses on reducing the environmental impact and therefore improving efficiency in the use of resources, which includes the use of ecological materials, the digital transformation of artificial intelligence are key to overcoming challenges and taking advantage of opportunities in this area...
