Abstract
The exponential increase in complexity and volume of data in the contemporary world has driven the adoption of Visual Analytics (VA) tools to accelerate knowledge extraction through effective visual representation of metrics and trends. This study aims to evaluate their effectiveness in practice, particularly during information analysis, and their influence on decision-making. To conduct this evaluation, physiological response measures from neuroscience, particularly eye-tracking using webcams and Real Eye® software, will be employed during an experimental design intended to compare the effectiveness of visual data analysis with traditional tabular information analysis. The results of this experiment are expected to provide valuable insights for both the academics and practitioners in the field, as well as data users in general
