Abstract
The following research proposal integrate two innovative methodologies used in different context, but in combination can bring new insight to decision makers about the future.: The General Theory of Powerful Thinking OTSM - TRIZ and Futures Wheel, a tool for analyzing different scenarios of occurrence. This integration is meant to be achieved through the combination of both, with the aim of proposing a new combined methodology that allows a more globalized approach to all types of situations in conflict. Combining the resolution of inventive problems with the analysis of scenarios for the same event, change or situation, allows the application of both methodologies to be a simultaneous and integrated manner of using them for strategic planning purposes, in different areas of the industry. The validation of the proposed combination was based on a case of study, particularly, on the development of an intelligent multimodal vision system based on the use of drones. These drones could allow the automatic monitoring and mitigation of wildfires in large areas of territory in unstructured scenarios in real time.
