Abstract

The general purpose of this document is to present our business model, whose main product is the intelligent bin, which is responsible for classifying the waste deposited in it according to its type, using advanced sensors and technologies. This idea arises after analyzing and studying the way in which it is recycled in the country, as well as the failures of this traditional recycling method. The main failure is the incorrect use of the typical recycling bins that have different colors depending on the type of waste, said misuse brings negative consequences for society and the environment. Waste being classified incorrectly hinders and hinders the recycling process; A recent study found that of the total metric tons of garbage that have been discarded, only 9% has been able to be recycled, so the rest would end up in marine ecosystems, polluting our environment more and more every day. We define as our market to conquer the waste and recycling service, since our business model is aimed at the collection, classification and recycling of waste. In the same way, a very important aspect that was taken into account was the education factor, because many times the bad classification of waste occurs because the population is not informed about the correct way of depositing waste, for what our customer profiles are made up of people who are interested in the topic of recycling and learning more about it. With the smart bin, our purpose is to help people to correctly dispose of waste in recycling bins, as well as to feel directly and indirectly committed to caring for the environment. This is how we seek to facilitate recycling processes, because as a brand we seek to contribute to climate change and make people's lives easier.
