Abstract
The present research work is focused on the development of an information system for inventories, which is defined as a useful tool, which will serve in the internal improvement of a company. In this case, it is focusing on the issue of inventories for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), since the research shows that one of the main factors that affects the economy of a company that is starting up, especially in Colombia , is the ignorance of what is stored. Therefore, our idea is to develop an information system that allows inventory management. The vision of the research is to be able to expand internationally with this information system in 2025, so that more companies can see the improvements in their economy and be recognized at the Latin American level as one of the best information system development companies.
