Abstract

As we well know, the consumption of sugary drinks occurs in all countries of the world, and Colombia is no exception. In some cases, consumption is excessive, negatively affecting the health of citizens. Therefore, this idea arises to contribute positively to a global problem, which consists of a significant number of people, from children to adults, who have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. (glucose or sugar levels in the blood are too high). They should reduce and/or control the levels of sugar ingested into the body. Taking into account the above, the design of a glass that allows to measure in a standardized way the amount of sugar consumed in beverages, specifically in soft drinks, is proposed. The ideal is to place the drink to be consumed in the glass, and that it is turning on a light in the lower part and by coded colors determine if there is a high, high, moderate, medium or low amount of sugar. Finally, link the information of the grams consumed to a mobile, through an APP (key partner), so that the user knows how much has been consumed in the day and how much is recommended.
