Abstract
Project to prevent and mitigate the negative impact left by river floods using low cost and easily accessible Internet of Things components, the monitoring device can be developed by anyone that have basic knowledge of electronic and computation giving easily access to the communities to the tools to help against flooding problems, the government entities will have access to the monitoring modules and real time information for take decisions, finally the collected data will be available to anyone through the website.
