Abstract
The effectiveness of soil compaction can be achieved with an appropriate choice of equipment to be used and based on the type of soil to be compacted, in order to maximize the necessary compaction energy and achieve an adequate soil compaction condition, it would be It is feasible to determine it through laboratory tests, however we must take into account that there are various compaction methods carried out in the field, such as: static pressure, by impact, by vibration, complicating the choice of the method that meets the technical conditions. consider the optimal moisture content in each type of soil to achieve maximum densification of the same, by providing adequate compaction energy. In this report we present techniques developed for the compaction of soils used today.
