Abstract
The research begins with an analysis of the Hass avocado production in the agricultural sector. The national productivity of avocados is 11.2 ton/ha, while the production of Hass avocado is only 3 ton/ha. This low productivity is identified as a technical gap. For this reason, the SMEs of Hass avocado of Pitipo worry about their next harvests. So as to, this study was carried out through interviews and data obtained by the farmers. Through which, causes such as the presence of pests and pathogens were identified, causing damage to both the plant and the finished fruit in the healing process. On the other hand, in the filling process, the size and weight outside the quality standards is an important factor in the agricultural sector. If they do not satisfy the necessary requirements in the Hass avocado, they are discarded from production and the damaged plants in the cicatrization process produce losses for future campaigns. For this reason, the present research work aims to increase productivity through the tools of Total Quality Management (TQM) that will give us the implementation and control, complemented with Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), which seeks for farmers to have greater knowledge of the parameters and guidelines established by SENASA. At the end of the implementation, it is expected, as a result, to obtain a yield of 2514 kg of Hass avocado for 38 plants. In other words, increase productivity by 35%.
