Abstract
The objective of this research work was to implement the design of quality management to reduce the costs of the company Cementos, for which the problems identified by the Ishikawa diagram were diagnosed, among which are: Lack of production control, inputs and outputs, high raw material supply times, lack of inspection and maintenance, lack of training of production personnel. Quality tools such as the DMAIC Six Sigma methodology, the quality house (QFD), the FMEA matrix and the training plan in the production area were studied, which were considered as the improvement proposal to be implemented in this research. As a result, the company Cementos. obtained a cost reduction from an initial value of S/9,285,856.14 nuevos soles to S/3,244,820.00 nuevos soles, thus reaching a benefit of S/6,041,036.14 nuevos soles, which represents a reduction of 65.06%.
