Abstract

In This article is a comparison of the treatment of surface water from the Mashcon River in the Province of Cajamarca, 2022[1], with the bioclotting agents solanum tuberosum starch, salvia hispanica and opuntia ficus-indica mucilage, with the aim of reducing turbidity, applying the following method: The jar test, which was operated at 100 RPM at high speed for 1 minute and 40 RPM for 3 minutes as low speed, with which the following results were obtained: solanum tuberosum starch, we obtained a remosion of 97%, with salvia hispanica 97% and finally with the opuntia ficus indica we obtained a remosion of 98% reaching a final turbidity of 4. 9 NTU which according to the supreme decree N° 0004-2017-MINAN of the Peruvian laws, is in the value within the ECA ( 5 NTU) as a permitted value for water for drinking use it is concluded that the three bioqualguantes have good efficiency in the remosion of turbidity , being the opuntia ficus-indica who achieves the highest percentage of turbidity remosion which makes viable.
