Abstract

The general objective of this work is to determine the improvement proposal to reduce the excess supply in the storage of the BON BEEF company in the city of Trujillo. In the first place, a diagnosis of each area of the company was made to show the situation that it is going through. The production area diagnosed with the greatest severity is chosen, this as a result of the excess of raw material which creates a high reserve during production, thus generating high levels of storage and with it monetary loss; Likewise, the research work presents the proposal for improvement and economic and financial evaluation corresponding to them. We select some of the problems present in the company which influence the low training of the production and therefore of the personnel, as well as in the lousy maintenance and profitability. A quantitative-correlational research was carried out, the present study determined the use of key quality tools such as QFD, AMFE Matrix, Six Sigma, among others. In the Pareto diagram shown, 1 of the 4 root causes that generated the greatest monetary loss was prioritized, likewise, the other 3 remaining root causes were resolved in the same way.
