Abstract

Most of the production systems are characterized by their ability to produce and sell different types of products at the same time in the same period of time and in their efforts to achieve the strategic objective of the organization. The application of the theory of restrictions based on the use of each process in the production line of this company and the sequence for work orders and the production times that each one takes, as well as the capacities required and available. The impact generated by the theory of restrictions for the production of furniture was determined, achieving a profit of 171%, which shows us that the application of TOC and PL are efficient for the management of operations of a company in the furniture industry. furniture. It is concluded that the impact generated by the restriction theory is reflected in the new assignment of production to the machines (Skyper and Venture), reduced the processing time and achieved greater demand and a maximum profit and production of 182%. and 187.59%, respectively, generating an increase in profits of 87.62%.
