Abstract
The study aimed to determine the relationship between organizational climate and job performance in an engine maintenance company. The methodology used was basic, with a quantitative approach and a non-experimental cross-sectional design, correlational in scope, with a census sample of 43 employees. To collect the data, a survey technique was used, applying two structured questionnaires as instruments: the CL SPC Work Climate Scale by Palma (2004) and the Individual Work Performance Questionnaire (IWPQ) adapted by Mendoza (2025). Both instruments were validated by expert judgment and had Cronbach's alpha reliability of 0.893 and 0.842, respectively. The results indicate a very strong and statistically significant positive correlation between organizational climate and work performance (r = 0.872, p < 0.05). Likewise, significant correlations were found with the dimensions of self-actualization (r = 0.799, p < 0.05), work engagement (r = 0.864, p < 0.05), supervision (r = 0.734, p < 0.05), and communication (r = 0.606, p < 0.05). It is concluded that a favorable organizational climate has a notable influence on job performance.
