Abstract
The improvement proposal allowed for the reorganization of warehouse space, while also identifying the products with the highest value and frequency of movement. As a result, inventory turnover increased by 4.4, from 19 to 23.4 times, demonstrating a significant improvement in logistics management and resource utilization. Financially, the proposal proved its viability by obtaining a Net Present Value (NPV) of S/ 850,453.20 and a Benefit/Cost ratio of 50.02. Likewise, the statistical results, validated by Student's t-test, confirmed a significant increase in inventory turnover, from 19.3 to 23.5 times per year, with a weekly average that increased from 0.3743 to 0.4509 (p < 0.05). These results prove that the application of the SLP methodology and ABC classification have a positive influence on the company under study.
