Abstract

The proposed study presents an analysis of how companies have used digital technologies to improve their competitiveness, adapting to an environment of accelerated change. The objective of this research is to analyze the theoretical and empirical studies regarding the management of digital change in companies between the years 2018 to 2024. The methodology applied was a systematic review of the scientific literature related to the digital transformation of companies, to which was used to articles from scientific journals located in the main databases. The result found is that there is a lot of information on this topic, in Europe and Asia, since 2018; However, in the Latin American region the statistical samples are small enough to generalize results in any sector. It is concluded that despite the clear advantages that technology brings to organizations, such as greater operational efficiency and a decrease in errors, they also face several challenges, the most significant being employee resistance to change, the excess of tolos, that are not consistent with the type, operation or size of the company, among others, that leaders must know how to anticipate so that the transition is more efficient.
