Abstract
The present study evaluates the application of the P´olya Method in the learning of linear functions in students of Cycle VII of CEBA 34048 of Surcubamba, Huancavelica, during the year 2024. A quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design was used, applying a written test validated before and after the pedagogical intervention. The sample was made up of 30 students selected in a non-probabilistic way. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics using SPSS software, which made it possible to determine the positive impact of the P´olya Method on the understanding and resolution of problems related to linear functions. In addition, the ethical principles of confidentiality and informed consent were complied with. The results suggest that the P´olya Method is an effective strategy to improve learning in this educational context.
