Abstract
Lean Warehousing emphasizes waste reduction and continuous improvement, positioning itself as a key approach to optimizing logistics operations. The objective of this research is to analyze how the Lean Warehousing methodology enhances the effectiveness of warehouse management in the manufacturing industry. To achieve this, the PRISMA methodology was employed, identifying 105 studies. Based on specific selection criteria, 16 studies were chosen for the final analysis. According to the results, warehouse efficiency significantly increased. From a quantitative perspective, key performance indicators such as OEE (86.3%) and order fulfillment rate (95.6%) improved, along with reductions in processing times and variability in warehouse logistics processes. From a qualitative perspective, space utilization was optimized, working conditions improved, and organizational culture was strengthened, fostering satisfaction and collaboration among teams. It is concluded that warehouse management efficiency metrics improve with the application of Lean Warehousing techniques such as 5S, Kanban, Kaizen, and SMED.
