Abstract
The current drinking water system in Cupiche is inefficient and lacks adequate maintenance, which generates a poor and scarce service. The research starts from this critical need and proposes a new system suitable to improve the situation. The methodology adopted is a mixed approach, combining qualitative and quantitative tools. The Epanet software was key in this research, since it allowed modeling and simulating the water distribution network, analyzing critical variables such as flow, pressure at the nodes and estimated demand to project the functionality of the system.
