Abstract

This feasibility analysis aims to evaluate the implementation of an automatic loading and unloading system known as the Automatic Truck Loading System (ATLS) in the manufacturing industry of Cortés, Honduras. The proposal seeks to address the need to optimize operational times and improve logistics efficiency, a critical challenge for companies operating in a competitive global market. To conduct this analysis, methods such as structured interviews with key stakeholders in the logistics sector and direct observation of current loading and unloading operations were employed. These methods enabled the collection of accurate information on the limitations, needs, and capabilities of the logistics environment in the region, as well as the validation of the technical and economic applicability of the ATLS system. The analysis highlights the project's technical and financial feasibility, with tangible benefits such as reduced processing times, improved resource management, and lower operational costs. This comprehensive approach provides a solid foundation for strategic decision-making and promotes the modernization of the logistics infrastructure in the manufacturing industry of Cortés.
