Abstract
The aim of study is to analyze how cleaner production strategies have been implemented across various industries, recognizing the need to enhance efficiency to mitigate environmental impacts. Additionally, this study aims to understand the benefits that sustainability contributes to industrial development. To achieve the research objectives, a literature review is proposed to identify and analyze relevant studies related to cleaner production and sustainability in various industries. The results indicate a significant increase in article publications in 2022, reflecting a growing interest in cleaner production and sustainability within the industry. Regarding the most utilized research method for studying the topic, surveys stand out, particularly in the category of cleaner production practices. The "Journal of Cleaner Production"; plays a pivotal role in disseminating research on these themes. Another significant finding is the crucial role of technologies and the contributions now made by circular economy.
