Abstract
Through this article, a systematic literature review (RSL) of the Kanban methodology was carried out to improve product replenishment in a Retail store, to optimize inventories and the supply chain. This work was carried out with data collected in different scientific articles related to retail companies; specifically in department stores; referring to the topic, which are available in bibliographic bases of scientific journals. 125 articles were found in Scopus, of which 20 met the needs of our research in a higher percentage, for this they were delimited according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, from which said quantity was obtained. The Kanban methodology was found applied in Retail stores, where its application is evident, which helps to improve the flow of products offered to customers.
