Abstract
This article addresses the implementation of the Odoo Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in the purchasing and inventory processes of a construction company. It employs a mixed-method approach, integrating theoretical analysis and practical application, supported by a case study, interviews, and employee surveys. Data analysis is conducted using statistical tools, comparing results with existing literature. The selection of the VAUXOO Open-Source Specialist methodology, consisting of seven fundamental stages, including gap analysis and concept testing, is highlighted. The results demonstrate notable improvements, including a 31% reduction in critical process execution time and a 28% decrease in operating costs. The Odoo ERP implementation generates savings and enhances efficiency, with a 45% reduction in errors through automation and a 37% increase in the productivity of automated processes. The article emphasizes the positive impact of the ERP system on the construction company and its contribution to process improvement. The research structure encompasses introduction, state of the art, objectives, materials and methods, Odoo ERP implementation methodology, results, discussions, and conclusions.
