Abstract
This research was carried out with the purpose of optimizing the exploitation of the rock mass, with the aim of increasing productivity through mining planning in Mining Company Poderosa S.A. An analysis of the current condition was carried out to design and implement a mining plan that would lead to a significant increase in productivity and, consequently, greater economic profitability. Various sources of consultation were used, based on previous studies where mining planning had managed to optimize exploitation, reduce costs and improve productivity. This research, with a quantitative, applied, descriptive–prospective, non-experimental and transversal approach, collected and analyzed data through the observation guide and production record. This approach allowed deficiencies to be identified through the use of the Pareto diagram, providing clear guidelines for the development of mining planning. As a result, an optimization of the exploitation processes was achieved, with an increase in productivity of 31%, an annual saving of 14.53% regarding the year2022, equivalent to US$ 394,214.58, and a COK of 14% was obtained. , an NPV of US$ 60993.53 and an IRR of 51%, results validated using the Student T test that yielded a confidence level of no less than 95%.
