Abstract
This paper proposes a Method for University Strategic Planning based on the Balanced Scorecard and the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM). The complexity of university management that is shared by authorities, governing bodies such as the University Council or University Assembly, which is represented by the university community; obliges the University to constantly seek new methods to improve its competitiveness.
