Abstract

This study addresses the theme of students' perception regarding the educational service provided by institutions of higher education. This research emerges in response to the need for educational institutions to retain and attract new students. The main objective was to evaluate students' perception level regarding various aspects of university educational services. The methodology employed was quantitative in nature, specifically a simple descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach, supported by the use of linear regression. The sample consisted of 184 university students, who participated in the study by completing a questionnaire designed to assess different dimensions of the educational service. The questionnaire covered aspects such as infrastructure and equipment, service capacity and efficiency, teacher competencies, and curriculum, including a total of 38 items. The results revealed a low level of perception among students regarding the educational service provided by universities. As a direct implication of these findings, the need to implement improvement strategies in the various dimensions evaluated is highlighted, aiming to enhance the perceived quality of university educational services.
