Abstract

The purpose of this scientific inquiry is to analyze the internationalization of companies in the context of digital transformation between 2018 – 2023. Likewise, its evolution over time and application of digitalization as a business model in those companies will be reviewed. companies that internationalize. Regarding the methodology, literature published in the Scopus and Web of Science databases was used to develop a bibliographic review. Through a deep systematization, 53 articles were selected, which were classified by publication date, quartile category, number of mentions and according to the inquiry parameters. The digital transformation and internationalization of companies are the study variables. Regarding the findings of the literature, it is noted that digital transformation is providing new opportunities to companies in the process of business transition such as micro and small companies, while the internationalization of companies is focused on medium and large companies.
