Abstract

The present work was developed with the objective of providing an interactive educational tool to fifth grade students of an educational institution. The video game, entitled "Question Hunt", is designed to generate 20 questions that are presented on a map where a cat moves from point to point. Each dot represents a multiple-choice question. If the student answers correctly, he/she wins a cat and accumulates points, up to a total of 20 points. The questions are recorded by the teacher according to the topic to be addressed. The game was developed in Unity using the C# programming language. A pre-experimental experimental design was conducted with a group of students to collect their opinions and evaluate the effectiveness of the video game. For the development of the video game, Unity was used as the development environment, C# as the programming language, and diagrams were designed to plan the stages of the game. This video game is a digital tool that students can use to enhance their learning in an interactive and engaging way.
