Abstract

This project to implement an application to improve academic performance was carried out through a study focused on the integration of a mobile application and digital resources, with the purpose of strengthening students' knowledge in lower academic level courses in the Redimer Jesus private school, located in the Villa Maria del Triunfo district. The main objective was to demonstrate the positive impact of the application on student performance. The research was designed under a pre-experimental approach of an applied nature, using a quantitative methodology. The population under study included 330 school students, from which a census sample of 40 students belonging to the third grade of secondary school was selected. The results obtained showed that the average score of the experimental group in the post-test was significantly higher than the average score in the pre-test, evidencing a higher score after using the mobile application compared to the control group. These findings conclusively support the effectiveness of the application in improving the academic performance of students in lower-level courses. The positive feedback from the students strengthens the viability and usefulness of the application as a pedagogical tool, thus providing a solid basis for future implementations and improvements in the educational field of the Redimer Jesus school.
