Abstract
This review aims to identify the different Lean tools that are best suited to Industry 4.0 technologies, thus seeking to increase operational efficiency where the problem is focused, i.e., it is used in order to improve their areas where deficiencies are visualized. In the following way, there were 284 articles extracted from Scopus and Web of Science, which only 22 are included in this research and are in accordance with the topic. According to the result of the research, the joint use of Lean tools in Industry 4.0 has achieved in most of the cases studied a great improvement in the processes, of which, there were deficiencies suffered by these companies where it had not been applied what would already be the combination of them transforming into Lean 4.0. With this, it was concluded that the use of these tools in conjunction with technologies has a certain correlation. But, also the limitations exist and are evident since each situation diverges in different ways and is not applied in the investigations.
