Abstract
he general objective of the research work was to carry out an analysis of the dynamic behavior due to wind loads in a 14-story structure with a dual system. The research considered a non-experimental design; in addition, it will be transversal in nature, since it will be carried out in a given circumstance. Also, in a descriptive way, since information will be collected, in order to analyze our variables. To achieve our general and specific objectives, we follow the guidelines and wind parameters of the current ASCE 7-22 (American) standard, where the intensity of the wind speed in a specific direction, the pressures and permissible displacements in the design of a building. For this purpose, calculations were made on a 15-story building, with a height of 37.9 m, 9.8 m in the direction perpendicular to the wind, 23.9 m in the direction parallel to the wind. The study of the building will be carried out in the city of Trujillo which will be through the RFEM 5 and RWIND and ETABS software for the modeling and simulation of the structure due to wind loads, also for the calculation of speeds it was achieved with the help of spreadsheets in Excel, applying the ASCE 7-22 criteria. The results obtained show important variations in speeds and pressures to which the Solano II building is exposed, exerted by the wind on the building since the higher the floor height, the greater the increase in the pressure exerted on the structure with respect to the speed. of the wind, it is also concluded that it is important that each method applied in the present investigation corresponds to a climatological reality of the country where they are located.
