Abstract
The study aims to systematically review literature on the integration of ethnography and ICTs in qualitative research, exploring a range of studies across healthcare, sociocultural, and economic contexts. Utilizing the PRISMA protocol, the research involves a comprehensive investigation across databases like Scopus, EBSCO, and Web of Science, focusing on articles published between 1990 and 2023. Findings: The review identifies diverse research approaches and objectives in ethnography with ICT, highlighting the multidimensional impact of ICT in society and the importance of qualitative approaches like ethnography for inclusive and equitable technological integration. The study stands out for its focus on the evolving role of ethnography in ICT research, emphasizing the necessity of this approach in understanding the complex interplay between technology and various sociocultural and educational contexts.
